Neuroscience

We examine how the molecular mechanism of proteins change in a neurodegenerative disorder. We identify potential areas that can act as a drug site and screen out drugs to identify their interaction with the altered proteins.

The field of neuroscience known as computational neuroscience, also referred to as theoretical neuroscience or mathematical neuroscience, uses computer simulations, theoretical analysis, and abstractions of the brain to better understand the principles governing the growth, structure, physiology, and cognitive abilities of the nervous system.

Although the two subjects are frequently confused, computational neuroscience is a sub field of theoretical neuroscience since it uses computational simulations to test and solve mathematical theories. Sometimes the phrase mathematical neuroscience is used to emphasise the quantitative aspect of the discipline. Apart from mathematical framework, we also integrate bioinformatics to explore the nonscientific field in more depth.
